This is Strange (Mermaid!Levi x Reader)

You drag yourself to the river you had found in the middle of the forest.  Your wound isn't too bad, but you try to ignore it as you scoop up fresh water in your cupped hands.  You sigh in relief as you slurp up the cold liquid and feel it trickle down your throat.

You tie your jacket securely around your leg, where the wound is.  After doing so, you lay back in the grass and smile blissfully.  Ah, what a beautiful place to die...

You jump suddenly when you hear footsteps nearing you.  Looking up, you find it's Corporal Levi and...Commander Pixis?  You continue to stare at the two.

When Levi gets to the edge of the river, he glances around as if making sure no one is watching him and Pixis.  Not wanting to be seen, you squeeze your eyes shut and huddle into the overgrown grass.

You hear a large splash and sit up, alarmed.  You look over to the river, and see two uniforms laying by the river.  You blush, realizing that Levi, your love, must be...unclothed at the moment.

You figure that the only place Levi and Pixis could've gone is in the river, so you slide in yourself.

The river is extremely deep, deeper than it appeared.  You spot a green, glowing light at the bottom of the river.  You continue to swim, and swim, and-

Suddenly you feel that you don't need to hold your breath any longer.  You inhale, and are shocked to find that you can breathe.  Taking more cautious breaths, you approach the green light.

You feel only shock when you finally make it to the green light.

There is a person releasing that green light.

And that person is Levi.
